The Curse of the Necklace (2024) - A Total Miss
The Curse of the Necklace is just another low-budget horror movie filled with possession tropes that are, at this point, simply boring. A family with deep-rooted issues comes into contact with a haunted object, and bad things start to happen. This cliche might be overused, but that doesn't mean it can't be good. If done right, a cursed object can bring an abundance of true scares. Unfortunately, The Curse of the Necklace didn't live up to the expectations.

Pearl is a visually stunning psychological horror. Usually, this sub-genre is characterized by a lack of bright color, harsh contrast between light and dark, and looming shadows. When it comes to this movie, that's not the case. The scenes are colorful and lively, and the soundtrack is reminiscent

The Conjuring: First Communion — Because Apparently We’re Still Doing This
I get it. The Conjuring franchise is one of modern horror's cornerstones. The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 wear that badge of honor for a reason — but the rest? Not so much. After those early highs, the quality of the franchise gradually dropped. They are running on fumes, and it's painfully obvious. Well, obvious to us — not to them, it seems. Apparently, we're getting another addition to the series. That raises the question: is it really necessary? That's what we'll try t
